Welcome to Math Adventures Jr.

This class introduces young learners to math through play, movement, and hands-on games. Designed for students in Transitional Kindergarten through 2nd grade.

Students explore foundational math concepts such as number recognition, counting, addition and subtraction, patterns, and early place value in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Through game-based learning, children build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and begin to see math as something enjoyable and accessible.

Each class will include a variety of interactive activities such as board games, card games, movement-based challenges, and small group play. Younger students focus on counting, matching, and number sense, while older students are challenged with strategy, computation, and critical thinking.

  • Addition War 

  • Pattern Building Stations

    • Pattern blocks

    • Counting manipulatives.

  • Number Line Hop

  • Make 10 / Make 20 Games

  • Shape & Sort Exploration

The overall focus is on creating a positive first experience with math while strengthening skills for more advanced learners. By turning practice into play, students develop confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation in math.
