Rock Band is a hands-on music class where students learn to play popular music using contemporary instruments such as drums, bass, guitar, or keyboard. Students will explore rhythm, melody, harmony, and ensemble skills while learning how each instrument contributes to a band.
Throughout the course, students will build basic instrumental technique, practice playing together as a group, and develop listening and collaboration skills. Emphasis is placed on steady tempo, groove, and teamwork as students rehearse age-appropriate songs and learn how to function as a band.
No prior musical experience is required. Students will work toward a final performance, gaining confidence and practical music skills through active music-making.
