Forget flat paper and pencil! In this hands-on art class, 3D is king! We will explore all that is 3D through paper mâché and basic sculpture techniques. Students will learn how to build, shape, and design their own creations using simple materials like cardboard, wire, tin foil and paint.
Students will develop skills in structure, texture, and form. Together as a class, we will decide on a general theme to inspire ideas. Emphasis is placed on creativity, problem-solving, and craftsmanship. Start with a 2D sketch and see it through to a finished and painted 3D sculpture.
This class encourages artistic expression in a fun and supportive environment, helping students build confidence while experimenting with new materials and techniques. Bring your creativity and ideas!
The only requirement is a willingness to get a little messy and have fun!
