Join our middle school Essay writing class and learn from a teacher who loves English!
This class is great for students to strengthen their understanding of core middle-school English concepts in a supportive and encouraging small-group environment.
Using How to write a 5 paragraph essay by J. Matthews as our guide, each week we will work through concepts in a progressive, step-by-step format, ensuring that students can grow steadily from one lesson to the next.
They will learn how to plan an essay, making it easier  to outline their writing.  Once they have their layover, they can start to write each paragraph:
 
research and strong hook
compelling thesis statement
get an introductory paragraph done!
the body paragraph follows, supporting their thesis.
and to finalize, students will practice their conclusion.
 
 
Students will build confidence through guided instruction, guided practice, collaborative problem-solving, and in-class activities that reinforce understanding in an engaging way.
