Unearth creativity and curiosity in this one-of-a-kind archaeology art class for ages 9 and up!
Inspired by the adventurous spirit of Tales of Ancient Worlds: Adventures in Archaeology, this class invites students to step into the shoes of real archaeologists—digging into the past while bringing history to life through art.
Kids will explore ancient civilizations, decode mysteries, and create hands-on projects like artifact replicas, ancient maps, and storytelling art pieces. It’s the perfect blend of imagination, history, and creativity—designed to spark a lifelong love of learning.
Students will build confidence through guided instruction, guided practice, collaborative problem-solving, and in-class activities that reinforce understanding in an engaging way. We will go at their pace but our hope is to cover
some of the following topics:
- How things survive time (some mummified, some got preserved in muddy waters, tar, underground, ice, water)
- We will travel around all continents in search of early people and visit ancient sites while learning about famous archaeologist.
- How things were recorded in ancient times
- How archaeology helps us put all these puzzles together with seasonal dating, historical dating and radioactive dating.

HOW TO SIGN UP :
1.Each class has a link that will take you to the description.
2. Add all classes to your cart. If you have more than one child, please sign up for each kiddo separately.
3. If you are paying with charter funds, they won't be available until August. So click “pay offline” or “pay in person” when checking out. If you plan to pay with your own funds, you could also pay later. You could also set up a monthly payment plan. Sometimes families use both charter and private funds.
OUR POLICIES:
4. You can change and cancel classes until Friday, August 28. After this date, there is a $75 per-class cancellation fee. Charter schools do not cover this fee.
5. The first two weeks of classes (Sep 7-18) could be a tryout period. If you decide to change a class, there is no fee. If you decide to drop it, we will reimburse your money, minus a $75 tryout fee for those 2 weeks. Charter schools cover this since your kid will be taking the classes
