Sewing by hand is a medium of expression of the Will.
There are few practices more satisfying than making something you can wear or play.
Sewing a project with no electricity can power a child's
imagination and gives them the confidence to make many things possible in life.
In this class, we will learn the safe way to handle needles, various
stitches, how to use sewing patterns.
In my many years offering this class, it's always a joy to experience so much calm, so many conversations between the kids, some pretty profound, some very silly, but all full of connection and meaning.
Come and join a circle of hand crafters!
WHAT YOUR KID NEEDS TO BRING TO CLASS:
All materials will be provided. Hand sewing takes time, so most likely your child will complete one or 2 projects through out the semester.
