In this one-of-a-kind, art-based Life Skills class inspired by Catherine Newman’s How to Be a Person, pre-teens and teens will explore real-world skills in a creative, engaging, and confidence-building way.

From writing a thoughtful thank-you note to learning how to manage time, communicate clearly, and solve everyday problems, students will turn important life lessons into hands-on art projects they’ll be proud of.

This isn’t your typical “life skills lecture”—it’s a space where kids can laugh, create, connect, and grow. Through drawing, collage, journaling, and interactive activities, students will gain practical skills while expressing themselves and building independence.

Perfect for tweens and teens who are ready to feel more capable, confident, and prepared for the real world—one creative project at a time!
