Hillary King has a Bachelor's in Fine Art from the Maryland Institute College of Art and a Master Teacher Permit in Early Childhood Education. Prior to starting Let’s Art Together, Hillary taught preschool in Pasadena for ten years. Currently, she teaches art privately to local students and works with home school charters. She is a firm believer in process over product. Inspiration, learning, and decision-making all happen in the doing of something. In a nutshell, art is so much more than making art. As an art teacher, her goals are to not only make the process fun, but to spark awareness about what is/isn’t art and why, be curious and ask questions, gain confidence through participating and trying, find your inner artist (we all have one), and to inspire life long lovers of art. Hillary is a proud mom to two incredible and independent college-age daughters. She is also mom to a sweet fur baby.
