"There’s power in looking silly and not caring that you do." — Amy Poehler

This process-based class focuses on building confidence in front of others, contributing to a team, increasing listening skills, adding to our script analysis toolbox and allowing ourselves to be wacky at one moment and vulnerable at the next. We will combine improv games with best-selling author Michael Shurtleff's definitive The 12 Guideposts as we learn to harness our inner power to be both silly and serious!

As improv comedian Deb Rebbai quipped, it's time to "Put your whole self in - just like the hokey pokey."

GO DEEPER! Pair this class with Acting Shakespeare: Antony and Cleopatra, Acting Shakespeare: A Midsummer Night's Dream and Improv Games!
