Research shows that people who have comprehensive sex education as children and teens are more empowered to make healthy choices when it comes to sex and relationships throughout their lifetimes. In this sex-ed class, we will learn about and discuss topics such as the importance & value of sex ed, puberty, personal hygiene, the reproductive systems, pregnancy & contraception, consent & sexual safety, building healthy relationships, and decision making. My goal for this class is to provide a safe, open space for teens to learn what they need to know and ask any questions they might have about their bodies and relationships.
