Literature can be a magical and thought provoking world; this class will help students discover these exciting elements. The class will provide students with a fundamental understanding of literature, essay writing, and poetry. Students will be given the tools to understand and analyze prolific texts so they can understand theme, literary devices, plot, characterization, and how to write and discuss the work in an intelligent way. There will be class discussions to help provide deeper insights into the texts while making the material relatable, accessible and engaging. Additionally, this class is meant to instill passion and excitement for the great works of literature, inspiring the reading, writing, and literary journey of each student.
