Calling all animal lovers! This unique class will cover all the basics of beginning horsemanship including safety, equipment, grooming, basic anatomy, nutrition, herd behavior, and much more! Students will get hands on experience learning to groom, tack, lead, and feed the horses as well as other fun activities such as making horse treats, trivia games, and a chance to interact with other various farm animals. 
 
Due to the nature of the class, there are only 8 spots per day, so make sure to sign up!
 
Children will need to wear long pants, closed-toe shoes. Also bring water, a snack and make sure they wear sunscreen! 
 
Classes will take place at a Ranch in Shadow Hills (about  10/15 minutes from the McGroarty Arts Center). 
 
**Please note, this class will be 10 weeks long - It will start on September 14th and end on November 30th. **
