Calling all animal lovers!

Homeschool  Horseback Riding and Horsemanship is a hands on class that develops safe and fun relationships between horses and students. This class covers a wide variety of topics including horse safety, grooming, tack, nutrition, disciplines of riding, and much more, as well as weekly riding instruction.

Students will learn the basics of horse care and riding through fun activities and games.

Due to the nature of the class, there are only 10 spots per day, so make sure to sign up!

Please have students come dressed for the weather. We will be outdoors and will be getting dirty! Long pants and closed toe shoes must be worn at all times. Riding helmets and boots will be provided for those who do not have them. Please indicate if students have had any previous horse or riding experience.

Classes will take place at a Ranch in Shadow Hills (about  10/15 minutes from the McGroarty Arts Center).

**Please note, this class will be 10 weeks long -
