Reese Coli

A lifelong learner herself, Reese loves to witness the magic, art, and beauty of the sciences along side children. She enjoys being able to explain a complex concept to a child in a way they can easily grasp. Her favorite thing about teaching is watching children feel empowered by their grasp of a topic and develop a new-found confidence in their creativity. She believes all children are built to learn and it is her job to tap into that natural ability.

Tiffany Lamb

Tiffany is passionate about teaching kids how their bodies work, while showing them how to make fitness fun for life. As a certified personal trainer and licensed massage therapist, she believes getting in tune with their bodies gives kids so much confidence. As a homeschooling mother of two, she knows it takes a lot of patience and compassion to guide kids through life and learning opportunities both in the classroom and out of it. She is excited about the subjects she teaches and like to share that joy with her students.

Tiffany has over 8th years of experience teaching homeschool classes. She has a passion for education that motivates her to provide fun and engaging classes for her students to keep their love of learning strong. With a background in fitness, anatomy, and massage, she often coaches PE classes. When teaching other subjects she likes to bring some physical activity to the classroom to keep bodies and minds active while learning. Manners, respect, and kindness are the top rules in her classroom, as well as communication.

Lynn Hayes

Lynn was a professional theatre director in Chicago (including at the prestigious Goodman Theatre) and Los Angeles (including at International City Theatre in Long Beach), and also directed youth at both the elementary grade and college level before becoming a mom. She homeschooled her children through their early years and now enjoys teaching other people’s kids! Lynn holds a BA in Theatre and Communications from the University of Pittsburgh. She has a passion for the classics, especially Shakespeare (her two kids have Shakespearean names)! Lynn uses her theatrical background to teach kids using fun, playful activities! Outside of teaching, one of her favorite things to do is to explore our National Parks with her family.

Kristina Russell

For over a decade Kristina has been homeschooling, worldschooling, and facilitating the education of her three children.   She has a background in Child and Family studies, Parent Education and creative movement. Her passion lies in nurturing confidence in her students through hands-on immersive learning that goes beyond the boundary of subject and encourages them to draw on all of their skills.  A strong believer in exercising the whole brain and the whole body; she has lead a wide variety of classes for homeschoolers ranging from PE to poetry.

Olivia Spencer

Olivia Spencer has been homeschooling her daughter for the past 5 years, and teaching classes for homeschoolers for the past several years. Her teaching style is heavily influenced by Waldorf education and she uses plenty of literature based learning as well. Olivia's history classes are a unique adventure. They are typically longer than the average class so that she can dive deep with students and allow them to learn a subject by experiencing it through various modalities: listening, creating, problem solving, building, drawing, map making, etc. She also teaches our herbalism camp and has studied the medicinal uses of plants for the last few years.

Mike Zittel

Mike Zittel has his Bachelors in Fine Arts, and published his first comic book while in college. AnnMarie Nee

AnnMarie loves to learn from listening to the stories of others. She believes the knowledge that comes from striving to understand others experiences brings compassion and a fuller understanding of the world. She's excited by social justice movements, when people come together to move power, and find ways to use their own voice and means to help others. AnnMarie is looking forward to teaching both her three kids, and the students of ACE this coming fall!

Renee Flannagan

Renee is a self-proclaimed “forever student” because she believes that your learning is never done. She strongly believes that children (and adults, for that matter) learn best in an open, fun, and engaging environment that meets them where they’re at. Renee has been a homeschool parent for 13 years. She’s also a Girl Scout leader, a health coach specializing in women’s health, a fertility awareness instructor and an avid knitter. She holds a B.A. in Integrative Health and many certifications related to health (hello, “forever student”!). Renee’s family has already been part of the ACE community as students and parents, but she’s so excited to join in as a teacher this Spring.
