Mercedes has been homeschooling her two children for 13 years. She found a passion for homeschooling early on in motherhood and loves supporting families through this amazing journey. She enjoys helping families where they’re at, from being a Babywearing educator to still currently an accredited La Leche League Leader.  

 

She holds a BA in Sociology from UCLA. Her love of film production bloomed at UCLA and then she went on to produce and edit at KABC, KNBC, local Cable companies and at Ad Agencies producing commercials. She also produced and directed a short documentary.   

 

Her first passion as a child was dance. She started at the age of five and always continued her passion by being in dance teams, taking dance classes at UCLA and even now as an adult. Her love of salsa dancing brought opportunities to perform at various events throughout the years.
